World Trade Center Medical Monitoring Program

The World Trade Center Medical Monitoring program offers free, confidential medical examinations and regular follow-ups visits to all workers and volunteers who responded to the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center. As an organization that aligns itself closely with organized labor, MagnaCare understands the importance of quality healthcare and simplified access to appropriate medical resources. MagnaCare’s members may access this program if they feel they were exposed at the World Trade Center site and have an underlying disease process related to the events of this incident.

This program assesses both the short- and potential long-term health needs of the workers and volunteers. The information gathered will not only benefit those receiving the exams, but also provide valuable information to assist future disaster relief workers.

The confidential examinations include:

  • A comprehensive physical examination
  • Routine blood and urine tests
  • Breathing tests
  • A mental health assessment
  • Exposure assessment
  • Referrals for treatment, if necessary
  • Benefits and entitlement information
  • Workplace health and safety information

These exams are provided in clinics in Manhattan Queens, Nassau County, Suffolk County, Piscataway, NJ, and at many clinics nationwide.

More information is available by accessing the Program’s web site, www.wtcexams.org or by calling 1-888-702-0630.
